This is an great piece of baseball history. The ball was autographed by the 1962 World Series umpires. This includes Hall of Famer Al Barlick, Stan Landes, Jim Honochick, Charlie Berry, , and Hank Soar.
The 1962 World Series featured the NY Yankees vs. the San Fransisco Giants. OAL baseball shows no use but this was intended for the game and signed in the umpires room. Beautifully reads “1962 World Series” in vintage ink.

It is best remembered for its dramatic conclusion; with runners on second and third and two out in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 7, Hall-of-Famer Willie McCovey hit an exceptionally hard line drive that was caught by second baseman Bobby Richardson to preserve a one-run victory for the Yankees.
