Antique Made in Japan 4" Setter / Hunting Dog Weighted Porcelain Figurine
Up for sale is a handsome antique "Made in Japan" porcelain figurine of a setter or hunting dog  It's 4" tall.  As seen in the photo of the bottom of the piece the inside of the figurine has been filled with something that hardened solid and gives the piece a weighted feel.  The bottom spot is a little raised so the figurine wobbles a little but rests perfectly fine.  It's in very nice condition with no chips, cracks or breaks.  There are tiny black specks on the porcelain--my best guess is was crafted that way.  I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be several decades old.
