Welcome to our shop.  This is a 3D printed joystick handle for electric wheelchairs.  We call this shape the Big Button handle.  The handle is approximately 2 7/8" (73mm) diameter and 1" (25mm) tall.  Included in the purchase is one Big Button handle and one allen wrench for the set screws.  It is intended to replace a missing knob, or perhaps is better suited for the user.  This handle was created to fill a need.  Some people lack the dexterity to control their chair in its stock setup and may find this shape allows better contol.   We currently have 5 colors available as listed.  Most chairs come with either a 3/16" or 1/4" diameter joystick shaft.  You'll need to verify which one you have before ordering.  The knob you receive will include a small allen wrench.  Use the wrench to "lightly" tighten the two set screws (across from each other) near the base of the handle (over tightening will strip the threads).  The set screws won't completely prevent the knob from turning, but should prevent accidentally knocking it off.
A little about me.  3D printing has been a hobby of mine for the past five years or so.  My wife suffers from MS (
multiple sclerosis).  The disease has left her in an electric wheelchair with no use of her legs.  As the symptoms have worsened, her finger dexterity has diminished to the point of making it difficult to manage the chair.  She asked me to draw up and print out some handle shapes that might make life easier.  She found a new confindence with some of the shapes and we've decided to make them available to other people at what we hope is a reasonable cost.  The handles are printed in ABS plastic and you should find them quite durable.  Color choices are a bit limited to what we have on hand - but don't be afraid to ask for something custom, it helps us to know what people like.
