You are bidding on a very rare original antique engraving from an 1870s French illustrated journal.
It depicts a beautiful English setter with white and orange coloring (Orange Belton)
The caption reads:  Le setter Englais Blanc et Orange
which roughly translates to:
The English Setter orange Belton
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture area is about
7 x 5.5 inches (18 x 14 cm), with a French caption below and text above it. The text could easily be trimmed before framing, or hidden under a window mat.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
