the Fischer RC4 Z13 Freeflex ski bindings represent a perfect accompaniment to their race skis and high-end GS style skis. For an alpine binding to be effective, it has to have a strong blend of safety and performance. Without either of these, there's no room for efficiency or retention. With a DIN range of 4-13, these bindings will accommodate a huge range of skiers, from lighter weight experts to racers looking to lower their points. From a performance perspective, the bindings have a 17-mm toe height and a 21-mm heel height. This gives the skier a bunch of extra leverage in order to maximize carving prowess and edge control. The raised-up binding allows you to lean into the turns and generate a ton of power out of the carve. At 2330 grams, these bindings have a good amount of heft to them, as it makes it easy to feel secure and confident given the burly construction. Safety-wise, the bindings have a Full Diagonal toe and heel, giving you a bunch of different ways to eject safely out of the bindings, thus increasing the retention as well as providing more accurate and consistent release values when testing. The Freeflex Pro plate keeps the ski moving on the same plane, and adds some stiffness and damping to the underfoot region of the ski. Racers and expert carvers will love the blend of safety and performance from the Fischer RC4 Z13 Freeflex ski bindings.
