    Steve, the inventor, had a father who weighed 275 pounds and had a health problem that caused him to fall. Steve's mother would phone and ask Steve to pick up his father but Steve was not strong enough. Instead they phoned the fire department to come and help. Steve researched and couldn't find a product to help lift up his father. So Steve invented the IndeeLift which stands for Independent Lift. There are two models for home use, the HFL-300 and the HFL-400 with a capacity of 300 and 400 pounds respectively.
