During 1975-76, the San Antonio Thunder team played two uneventful seasons in the North American Soccer League (NASL), before moving to Hawaii, where they went by the quite original name of Team Hawaii. The one and probably only interesting tidbit about the the team is it was owned by the son of the founder of Frito-Lay snacks.
