INSTALLING YOUR TDS SURVEY PRO CARD
You need a RAM card 256K or higher in port 2
(Note: You may need to erase what is in the memory of the calculator by pressing the [ON] key and simultaneously
pressing the A and F digits, release [ON] key  then the A and F, you will read this question: Try to recover memory?
Then press F digit meaning (NO) It will display," Memory clear". By doing this the the calculator's memory
will be blank).
If your ram card is corrupted, an "Invalid Card Data" will appear on the display of the calculator,
To get rid of it, do this:
Click
Alpha, alpha, left shift, alpha, and type [I][N][I][T][R][A][M]. . Press [ENTER]. The HP 48 will prompt
"OK TO ERASE ALL FILES IN PORT 2?"
Answer [A] for yes. This  will solv
e the problem.
Turn off the calculator.
Insert the TDS Survey Pro in port 2. Turn it on and press: alpha alpha TDS48 [enter]. You will read on the display,
installing the library... Completed.  Turn the calculator off and insert the TDS Survey Pro in port 1 and ram card in port 2.
Turn it on and  press:
Alpha, alpha
, TDS48 [enter] (key) and software is ready to use.
