Striking the perfect balance between lightness and usefulness, the SLAT Long Cast is the perfect tool for multiple fishing environments. Lightweight graphite frame and rotor and is coated with a special satin paint and anti-corrosion. The drag consists of multiple carbon discs and guarantees a very powerful and progressive braking system.
Quick Set Drag System
The quick set drag knob allows the user to adjust the drag tension rapidly. The Samira's drag system has 2 knobs that are used to set the tension of the drag. In order to set the drag properly, turn knob A counter-clockwise until it cannot be turned anymore. Then set the drag tension by adjusting knob B to the desired drag. Turn it clockwise to increase the drag tension or turn it counter-clockwise to decrease the drag tension. Once the drag is set to the desired setting, start fishing! However, if there is a need to increase the drag when fighting a fish, turn knob A clockwise to quickly increase the drag tension on the reel. Reset the drag tension to its original setting by turning the knob A counter-clockwise until it cannot be turned anymore. This design feature makes it relatively easy to adjust the drag and return the drag to the user's preference without constantly testing the drag.
