By the pool, an outdoor kitchen, balcony, porch or patio, West of the Wind's Giclee' on Canvas adds a new design dimension to these areas. The amazing clarity of our images in this large format starts with licensing the finest professional photographers whose work can be enlarged while still retaining the crispness and detail of the original photo. Using the Giclee' method of technology and state of the art equipment, we are able to reproduce these artists' works for use in a variety of outdoor applications. Giclee' is the French word meaning "to spray or squirt with a nozzle". The term "giclee' print" connotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto canvas. The giclee' printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of production. Each print is secured to the frame using the gallery wrap method so the image on the sides is a continuation of the main image. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Our outdoor art framework consists of vinyl stretcher bars that are impervious to moisture, cold and heat. Additionally, non-corrosive stainless steel staples are used to attach the stretched canvas to the bars. Your print can be installed with our simple hardware that is designed to withstand 60 mph winds.
